The Unofficial Guide to Newton Kansas
My travels have brought me to south newton KS, for whatever reason, I decided to reside here for a while (not sure why though). It is 20 miles north of witchata on I-81, or I-135 (same road)
And since you are reading this, you must be pondering the thought of visiting this interesting place
In all it's a nice place to visit, and not bad to live in at all, but it's pretty weird. Most of the laws of nature, and physics don't apply here, the speed limits are 20 in biz, 30 on stragitaways, and 15 in residential. This is simply odd. The coffee shop downtown opens up at 2200, and closes at 1000. This is also staggeringly odd. Not sure what to make of it really though.

Got em, but you rarely ever see them at all, and when they do intervene, they are way too nice, and polite to really get anything done.
Lots of choice here! We have the 3 really good ones, and some others also, pizza hut, Mr.Fried chicken, and Taco bell. The other one that comes really close, is Wendys (personal fav). At the time of this writing, I work at the pizza hut. If you are looking for pizza in this town, that is the ONLY place to go.
Their are probably some here, I found one by accident, not sure exactly where it is, but it was not very impressive at all
+ At least pretend to be Christian (most everybody here is)
+ Drive like everybody else(this is Kansas, and people from here can't drive
+ Don't be a racist
+ Ignore the cops, and they will ignore you
+ Stop and chat with people (they are just as bored as you are(most of them are really nice people))
+ Ignore the white car with lots of antennas driving around(he's batman)
