xpurple.com got a new home today. Hmm, or was it the day before. Doesn't matter much either way...

But, let me assure you that it's going to be a hell of a lot faster. Not to mention a lot sexier. You just don't get the kind of love 5T1 lines can give you from a DSL line. Yes, you heard me right. xpurple.com is now hooked to the internet via 5, let me say it again, 5T1 lines. Not to mention a brand new, and spiffy 100mbps Network Card.

Oh, and I should mention that the box that serves it has changed to. Running FreeBSD. Somewhere around 500mhz, I think (I don't own the box, it's the property of LedHazard Networks/GeekGod.net). With that said, I can get into other things.

Speed, no bandwidth limit, and more speed. What else in the world can you ask for? Hmm, maby somebody to love?

Then, as I was saying, speed. Do you realize that I cause ~500 megs a day of bandwidth usage?. Hmm, maby that's a bit high. But, some days it's actually more. Yep, I have a bad habit. MP3 (nuff said).

Oh, and yes, I did put a space in the name of this file. It's the Mac-lover in me. Yes, I love Macintosh computers. They have the best hardware, and the slickest interface. It makes windows look like a riding lawn mower with the body of a pinto glued on.

Now, their comes the matter of linux/mac. I like them both, do I have to choose? Nah, they both kick ass. You want an easy computer to use? Mac time. You want a server? Linux time. Mix and match, and your set. Hell, my current mac has never even touched the internet before (since I've owned it). I run a proxy server on my linux box. Problem solved. One of these days I'll get around to running some sort of proxy so I can IRC from my mac. Hmm, but I'm lazy.

I am in bad need of more HD space. Only 175 megs free on my largest drive. I'll just end up compressing stuff I don't need so I can put more mp3 files on it. Then, when I'm out of stuff to compress (AKA, I have no programs left, other than my mp3 player). I'll bite the bullet, and buy a bigger HD. Anyway, by then drive prices should have gone down anyway. (Will 3 days really matter?)

I've been flirting a bit on IRC with this one girl. Oh well, no real future in it. I have all those girls from .au anyway. Most notably Sarah. Though I've missed her quite a bit lately. She hasn't been on the ICQ network at all lately. Either that, or at different times from me. Maby this weekend? I sure hope so. I miss chatting with her about things.

I must really suck to get this sappy over someone I've never really met before. Hehe, but that's the way I am. Who knows, maby some girl in real life will sweep me off my feet? Hmm, small chance of that happening. You've seen my picture.

And, on that note. I have a dentist appointment monday. Yep, getting another tooth pulled. It's been way too long since I should have gotten this done in the first place. But, the pain is just getting worse, and worse every day. I'm to the point I just want to go out, and knock my teeth out.

Oh well, what's another one missing? No big deal. But it will make eating interesting for a few days.

Things at work are going quite well. Their was a little bit of confusion today, but nothing major. Not to mention this one girl who called up because her internet was broke. She rocked, made my day. Ones like that make it all worth while. If only they where all that helpful/friendly. Damn lusers who consume 95% of my time.

I've been seriously pondering getting an ibook. I mean, really seriously. Those things are sweet. Not to mention sexy as hell. Hehe, I bet I'd get laughed at work for bringing one in. Because you know I'll get one that's a really 'girly' color. I like girly colors.

Is it just me, or does my new notebook have a pinkish tinge to it? I think it does, kina weird. At least the screen is really high quality. Other than that one dead pixel. At least it's green :)
