A picture of my systems!
A note of intrest, the monitor in the middle, it's a 386DX/33, and you can see the motherboard, and other parts just sitting on top of the monitor. I don't remember where the HD's for it are in the picture, probably beside the monitor or something. They where in the proccess of dying when I got the parts, and I just played with them till they finaly died. I still have one of the HD's, or at least part of it. I use it for an ashtray.
My daily life consists of sitting around, using the net, working on fun little projects, going down to the brickery (and having some java), and sleeping. I am ususaly dressed in a big black trench coat, and other black things. But I also wear full cammo's quite a bit also. I often scare people because of the way I dress :)
I also drive a big brown van (77 dodge tradesmen 200). with all the windows covered up in back. Because I lived in it for quite a while. Oddly enough, it looks almost purple if the light is right :) Thier is a boycot Micro$oft bumpersticker on the van also, the pictures don't do it justce. It's been my main mode of transportation for over a year now, and I've been very pleased with it. But at the moment something is going crazy with the wiring (too many paperclips!). So I have to jump it every couple days. I'm very glad I have another vechile to do this with. My other van (no pics) is a 76 Dogde sportsman royal. I got it cheap, and use it for spare parts. Never know when something is going to go out :) I finaly found the main electrical problem, and fixed it. Plus pulled the battery out of the other van. I will soon be doing some remodiling in the back, now that I have powertools! And will also be mounting a computer on the dash board. Both batterys where doa. I bought a new one, and I haven't had to jump it for quite a while no. It's great! I'm going to get my CD player fixed today. And I'm not going to do that myself...don't know shit about fixing Cd players...computers yah...but not little CD players :)
Winter has come, or at least, it's bloody cold. So, thusly my 77 will not start. This dosn't suprize me, had the same problem last winter. But my 76 does start, and runs great in the winter. So, the only solution is to drive that. I got plates and insurance on it, and that was actualy pretty cheap. Since I have 2 vechiles, I get a discount on the insurance. I put some of my stuff from the 77 into it, my CDplayer, and my AMP. You can hear my van from about 2 blocks away without much problem. Not that I have the volume that high most of the time.
Now that I had a tire fall off of the 76 while driving (about 35mph), it's sitting in my driveway, being a mobile storage shed again. This kina depresses me a bit, because it was so much fun to tear around in. And actualy has seat belts!.
News flash! Somebody got laid in the back of my 77! But it wasn't me, and I was not even involevd in it :(
A bit of information mostly as a warning. I have what is called a long fuse. It takes a lot to piss me off, but when I do get pissed off, I just blow up, and you don't want to be on the reciving end. It ususaly takes a year or so to get me to blow up. I have had about 3 times this has happend...all of the people who upset me, are now forever sorry :)
