Today was just another day, nothing all that special. There was this lady who pissed me off. I was overdue for my smoke break due to it being busy. No biggie, it happens. Then she calls. She had a 29$ a year account and cancled in the first month of it's renual. Accounts was very nice, and droped the charge to 9.95 (our lowest plan). They pro-rated. She didn't care, and kept going on about how unfiar it was that she had to pay anything at all.

This went on for a good fifteen minuits before she decided that I'd been yelled at enough. Remember that we arn't allowed to hangup on people just because they are morons who should never breed.

I did sucessfully calm down a client who had hung up on one of the other techs. They go to a point, and would just argue over and over. When he called back in, I answered. Needless to say, I calmed him down and fixed his problem.

Then there was the other girl. She was very polite, but reminded me of mhy I don't breed. I had to point everything out to her several times. Not just today, but every couple of days for the last month.

I'm a bloody babysitter!

Life is simple, you are born, and later you die. In the middle you spend your time trying to fit in. That's what normal people do anyway. Bloody 95% of the population. The upper 5% feed off of the rest, ususaly without being noticed.

We live in very interesting times. Long ago being big, strong, and bullheaded where good traits. The sort of thing that let you live longer, and breed more. Now it makes little diffrence. To get anywhere in this world now you must know what your doing. The kind of skill that tends to go down with the above traists (though not every time).

But it's still no diffrent. Eventualy you wil die. Try to deny it, but it's going to happen. Once you have commited yourself to this fate and just accept it life is a lot simpler. It makes you want to leave your mark. Not something fleeting, but rather the kind of thing that will be passed down the generations for a long time.
