I'm currently sitting in my dad's office, installing win98SE on his computer. This is due to him wanting a new scanner. One that happens to be USB. Actually a pretty good one. But, it requires USB. I just don't like having to install it. Heh, this is what I do for a living :)

Sorta, at work lusers are my eyes, and fingers. Sometimes they actually do what I tell them to :) Rarely is the case though.

Win98 broke upon the first install, so here goes another shot. 29 minutes left. Yarg, I wish this could just get over with *now*. Oh well.

Lets talk about something I enjoy for a change :) Work.

Somebody decided it was a good idea to stick the G3 (blue) in the monkey (support staff) part of the office. Oh, that is so cool! A real computer! Wow is that thing fast! It's been collecting dust for way too long, far too long...

But, that's over. It's now useful again. I'm not sure what for really, but something, I'm share. If nothing else, it gives us another terminal to use. Hum, too bad we are now short a phone. Hehe, that will get resolved at some point in time.

One of these days, I'll get around to adding a second monitor to my mac at home. If nothing else for the coolness factor. Finally having an OS that supports more than one monitor :)

Granted, I'm not sure what real benefit I'll get from having an extra, but hell. But, I have bigger, and better plans before that. iBook. Yes, I'm sure you have heard me talk about this before in previous files. But I really mean it. I think I keep telling myself, so that I actually get around to doing it. Oh, the love!

You don't get that kind of love from a PC. PC, yuck. While being cheap, a PC is cheap. Low cost design, stamped out with no care. No love put into them. It's similar to the difference between a cake you buy in a store (PC), and a cake you mother makes for you (Mac). The store cake is made in a factory, with no really care. They just want it done cheap and fast. On the other hand, the cake you mother makes is made with great care, and love.

FYI: A Sun is made with the same kind of love as a Mac :)

Almost done...
