Wandering around, not much to do. I woke up late today. Had stuff to do, but since I couldn't make it to the bank when they were open it didn't get done. Oh well, they can wait for there money. Yep, car insurance. One of the great evils.

It really comes down to a big gamble. Yep, you bet them that your going to crash into someone, and they bet you won't. They usually win. What's the point of betting on something like that? A game like this would never make it in usually (where the chance of winning is slim to none anyway).

Yesh, it's just totally insane. But a required thing. You haven't got it, you can't drive. Totally fucked up, I am so sure that insurance companies have there hands in the .gov's pants over this one.

I've been playing with AppleTalk, and love it. Seamless in the extreme! The mac sees the 'network mounted' drives as actually attached to the system. Very nice.

Oh, I tried to install Norton 4.0 on here... No good, it says it's not compatible with MacOS 9. Hehe I'll just have to buy the new version then ;)

I'm still very much in love with this keyboard. Though the second enter key is a bit odd. For some things I hit command on the right side. Hmm, that will change with time.

My belly is currently making sounds of rebellion, hence I decided to make the drive to 'the diamond T (truckstop)' for some food. A wonderful place to eat, but a bit pricey for fuel. The people who work here are quite friendly, but take a bit of getting unto. They all have there little quirks. Hehe, don't we all?

So, I'm sitting in a dirty old truckstop with a bright shiny new laptop that probably comes to 4 months worth of wages for most of the other people sitting here. Feeling out of place yet? Maby. I've only received one comment on it's 'cuteness' so far tonight. Hehe, I'm unto more, like one from almost everybody walking by.

It sure does a good job of drawing lots of attention. I hope it gets me girls! I have some logic behind this, let me explain.

How an iBook will get me girls

First off, it draws attention. This will allow me to interact with people I would otherwise not. Secondly, it's kind 'girly', so therefore most of the interaction will be with girls. Heh, it may just work.

Granted there are a few holes in my great plan. Mostly having to do with a very small percent of the people in the world like apples. Or, to put it more bluntly, most of the population thinks your an idiot for having an apple.

But, this is cool with me. Have you ever thought about who owns these things? Yep, mostly writers, or artists. Some of the worlds best thinkers. Hence the slogan 'Think Different'.

I'm currently waiting for my 1/2 lb chunk of charred animal flesh to cool down to something more room tempeture before eating it. Extremes either hot, or cold cause shock to the body and should be avoided.

It's almost there, that load of mayonnaise helps to speed up the cooling process... Not to mention make it taste much better.

Fat, tasty, hearty, good. Fatty foods are brain food. Plus they are a lot easier to digest than fruits, and vegetables. The main things that differs us from monkeys is that we eat meat, and a lot of it. While there are some people in this world who think it's cruel to kill animals for food, I digress. If given enough time they will revert back to the large body yet, small brained monkeys that we descended from. Spending all there time looking for plants to eat.

Trier are some plants, like lettuce that actually take more energy to digest that we get out of them. here, It's quite simple though. To properly process plant material you need a very long, and extensive digestive system. This takes a lot of energy to run, thusly other parts of your body get neglected. (or, more so the brain) The brain uses a large portion of your energy pool to run. So, if you have already used up most your energy digesting food, you have little to spare on thinking.

It's some funky asset shit, let me tell you right now. I've got this woman who must be in her early 80s stareing at me. She's giving me the heeby-geebys...

Microsoft has decided to make a console gaming system called 'The X Box'. LOL! I know what they are up to, it's so evil.

They want to be both the hardware, and the software people for it. Yep, they aspire to be as amazingly cool as apple is. But, they will never make it. Course it's deeper than that. It has to do with all the hubbub in the media lately. Yep, the anti-trust suits. No more monopoly on computers, but wait!his is a console gaming system, not a computer. It's cool. Then six months later they release Office 2002 for it. But, you find it slow to write letters to your mom, or do internet chat using the game pad. No problem, they sell keyboards too!
