The ram for my iBook finaly showed up. YES! Danm it flys! I've got like 20 programs open right now, and it's not draging a bit. Shit man. Turning virtual memory, and setting the disk cache to 8 megs helps out a lot too. Heh, MacOS isn't too fast when it comes to virtual memory.

I haven't slept in quite a while, while pretty normal, this may not be a good thing. I'm currently in lincoln, no good place to sleep around here at the moment. But, I'm curently sucking down caffene at a high rate. It's helping, I feel awake. Hmm, more so I just can't shut my eyes. It makes the wrold spin.

As I was heading to the bank this morning I felt like total shit. Made it to the courthouse to pay my taxes, then almost fainted on the way down the long staircase. About half a block from there I lost everything that happend to be in my digestive track. Not a pretty sight, but something odd happend. A young lady (maby 40) asked if I needed a ride somewhere. She sounded like she was really interested in helping. Cool, rare does that happen anymore.

I found some "Namie Amuro" on napster last night. I'm so happy! She's just so cool. The version of 'body feel exit' turned out to be some sort of remix, still very cool. But I have yet to find the origional track. I've also come to the conclusion that only 3 people on napster have any of her stuff. Two guys with really bad ping time, and myself. Oh well...

Can I go a day without napster? Maby ;) But I want my fix! Hehe

I have a newfound love for my iBook with the new ram, I just can't get over how much of a diffrence it makes in speed. WOW, even seti@home runs much faster. Maby I can actualy crunch a packet in less than 48 hours now. LOL, ducttape's computer takes like 200 hours to crunch a packet. I don't know why I even bother sometimes. Other than because it just sits idle 99% of the time, might as well use those wasted processor cycles.

I've even got it set to connect to the internet whenever it feels like it. Might as well, it only dials up like once every other week or so. Stays on for 10 min, then goes back to crunching numbers.

Speaking of that, I started a new seti@home group. 'Internet Nebraska' Hopefully somebody finds it, and joins. We have a *lot* of wasted CPU time, that is if you count in all the clients ;) Maby this is INEWS material? Hmm, I think I covered seti@home a couple months ago.

On my second glass of whatever this is, I'm starting to shake. That's a good sign, means the caffene is getting into my system. Caffene is good! It stunts your growth, and not sleep much. Both are great things. Smaller people require less food to live, and sleep time is wasted time. The only major downside has to do with having to use the loo so much.

Speaking of that...

Hmm, maby this milk based drink wasn't such a good idea. I am so going to have gas later, not to mention some other 'bad' problems. Oh well, life goes on.
