In this issue, our superhero has just had a job interview. It seemed to have gone pretty well. The guy 'mikeb' seemed pretty pleased with him.. I think he has a pretty good chance at getting the job. Heh, tech support. It's a living.

granted not one of the most heroic of jobs, but it has it's high points. When you succeed (95%) of the time, your a hero. So, in all reality, it's pretty heroic. Not a bad line of work for a superhero then.

But, can he keep up? Hopefully, it's not that hard, if you know what your doing. And, since our superhero has lots of experince with windows, unix, MacOS, and a lot of other platforms it few normal user problems should be out of reach.

Monday, the day the answer will be known. The answer to a question that's going to drive him mad till he knows the answer. Watch and wait, what's his fate?

Till then, little needs to be done. Jut 'bum' around a bit. Take care of basic household type things. Maby even find a place to hide those bodies...

Ehh, The entire interview process seemed a bit rushed. Or, more so not the norm. They shook hands, chatted for a few min. Verified that it's what our superhero wanted to do, and could do. Then it was over. Lasting a whole of 10 min.

Afterwords he got the 'grand tour'. Not that he's never seen the NOC before ;). Wondrfully refreshing though, they have rearanged things a bit. Adam has his sparc5 setup there. About the middle of the NOC. Quite cool.

At least now our superhero has some good things to tell his famialy. Or, hopefull things anyway. It should work out well for everyone involved.

Down to one smoke, wondering weither to continue here, or move on.

MacOS, one of the best GUIs ever created. Our superhero has become rather attached to it. Ignoring the random crashes. Apparently becoming usto them. Who knows what the flavor of the month will be next. A juicy sparc, OS/2, FreeBSD, Be. Who knows. This guy changes platforms more often that some people change socks.

It's been usefull though. It forces him to learn. So many things that look totaly diffrent, but when you get down to how it realy works...it's realy all the same. He usto be a religious fanatic, of the linux type. Now he's just whatever, ya know? As long as it can connect to the net, and has a ssh shell (or telnet). Everything else is just an added bonus. Heck, even color isn't realy that inportant.
