Realized today that I am a member of the 'jeep club'. This is rather odd, because I don't own a jeep!
But, as fate would have it, I happen to belong to many jeep clubs...all a bit diffrent...or, quite frankly, a lot diffrent...
So, what's a jeep club you ask? Heh...knew this would come up...so, here it is. When somebody ownes a jeep, and they run into someone else who ownes a jeep, they stop and chat a bit (since it's kina rare). This is what makes it the 'jeep club'.
But, since I down own a jeep, nor ever plan to, unless some sort of wierd war breaks out for no apparent reason whatsoever, how am I a member you ask?...Quite simple realy, let me explain.
I do a lot of things that not too many people do...
[xpurple@notebook xpurple]$ cat /home/xpurple/webpage/gfiles/jeepclublist.html 1. I wear a trench coat (not many people have the balls for this) 2. I own a PalmPilot 3. I run linux 4. I am a computer geek in the worst way 5. I am a Bad Religion fan
Ok, so this is not too many jeep clubs, but still a good amount. Kina odd thoug. This whole idea came about when gassing up my truck in lincon tonnite, started pumping, and a car pulls out, and a guy gets out with a trench coat, very much like my own. I looked him up, and down initaly, to see if he was just a harmless guy like me, or an actual terrorist. Decided he was just a highschool kid, and went on pumping gas. On my way out of the station (after paying), He walked by me, and we noted to each other that we liked each others choice in clothing...heh...pretty odd. If it wouldn't have been for the coats, we would never had even said hi...much less make eye contact (well, not realy, I make eye contact with *EVERYONE* I see)
