Well, I'm doing it again. I'm doing computer repair. Something I thought I'd never go back to. In some ways, I'm glad, but in others, a bit perplexed. Make 45$ in 30 min...what other line of work can you do that? Not many. I did some repairs for van.t, they had a bad floppy drive (Comon poblem there(Very dirty enviorment)). Took me a few minuites to determin that the drive was in fact bad, not just louse cables, and such. Took the drive home to test it on another compuer (pontless endevour), then broguht them a new one (Well, not new, but I knew danm good and well that it worked quite well). It went in, I tested it, ran some various tests on it, an *BAM* works. Rose seemed happy...She suffered a total down time of about 15min. Not bad. Now she has a working drive to boot (pun inteneded).

From what I can tell, van.t has not had any luck finding anybody else to work on thier equipment. Not since I left for PA. They have done upgrades, and replaced stuff with stuff from various vendors...including an E-Machine. (god those suck)
